Covfefe (Ko-Fay-Fay), a word, presumed to be a typographical error, that President Donald Trump used in a viral tweet when he was in his first term as President of the United States. It quickly became an Internet meme, a book, a comic book and even covfefe merchandise.
“Covfefe” is also often invoked when discussing gaffes made by public figures, businesses, and organizations in public discourse. Other uses of “covfefe” involve word play on similarity with the word “coffee”. The New York Times even wrote an article titled: What’s a ‘Covfefe’? Trump Tweet Unites a Bewildered Nation, as written by a NYT correspondent that focuses on powerful figures.
